Abbey Machinery were delighted to be part of the first ever fire officer machinery rescue course which took place in Nenagh Fire Station, Tipperary last week.
The aim of the fire officer machinery rescue course was to provide fire officers with information to assist them in making decisions when arriving upon an accident involving farm machinery.
In total, close to 130 operational officers attended the fire officer machinery rescue course where practical yard demonstrations were held by Abbey Machinery and a number of other machinery companies.
Joe Tracey was on hand from Abbey to provide the fire officers with knowledge of the workings of Abbey Machinery.
The course included technical presentations, advice on the potential dangers when disabling different pressures on machinery, tips were also offered on how to stabilize various machines.
A huge thank you to all those involved in organising this event and for asking Abbey to participate.
