Abbey were delighted to welcome the Student Enterprise Tipperary Finalists to the Factory.
At Abbey Machinery, we are committed to empowering the development of future leaders and innovators in the agricultural sector. Abbey Machinery welcomed the distinguished finalists of the Student Enterprise Tipperary Awards: H&P Engineering, represented by Harry Butler and Padraic O’Halloran, and Tankit, led by Seán Brett, to our factory this week.
The visit of these talented individuals to our facilities marked an important juncture in their journey towards the national final on the 9th of May. Accompanied by their educators from CBS and Coláiste Mhuire, Thurles, as well as representatives from the Local Enterprise Office, the finalists had the opportunity to present their innovative projects and engage in insightful discussions with our team of engineers.
During their time at Abbey Machinery, the finalists received a comprehensive tour of our facilities, gaining valuable insights into the manufacturing processes and technologies. Our engineers provided guidance and feedback, offering valuable perspectives to help the students refine their projects and navigate their future endeavours in the agricultural sector.
We are confident that the experience gained during their visit will be useful for the continued development and success of the finalists’ projects. As they prepare to represent Tipperary on the national stage, we extend our full support and encouragement to each participant, their mentors, and educators.
